Job Summary:
The role of the Assistant Director supports the mission of Regis University by providing strategic leadership, vision, and direction of operations within the Center for Counseling, Family and Play Therapy, with the support and guidance of the Director of Health and Wellness and the Dean of the School of Mental and Behavioral Health. The Assistant Director works in conjunction with clinical faculty and administrative support staff at the Interprofessional Health Campus in Thornton to bridge clinical delivery and academic programming through graduate and certificate programs. This work includes providing excellence in clinical education and clinical research, as well as clinical services to the community.Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Services (70%)
Oversees client intake, assessment, and scheduling processes
Hires, reviews and supervises interns
Oversees CCFPT Orientation for practicum and internship students
Develops and maintains a research database on client outcomes
Ensures the clinical services are provided in a safe, respectful, legal, economical, and medically current manner in line with Regis University mission and Jesuit values
Supports the Director of Health and Wellness in their duties related to quarterly reporting, marketing, maintaining the CCFPT budget, maintenance and technology updates
Attends SMBH Leadership meetings and Clinical Coordinator meetings
Administrative Duties (30%)
Oversees CCFPT policies, procedures, and other documentation
Addresses internal and external feedback, resolves conflicts, makes necessary improvements
Develops, implements, and oversees CCFPT policies, procedures and other documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements
Oversees billing and EHR systems; becomes the subject matter expert on clinic technology in order to assist interns and faculty with questions related to software
Ensures CCFPT is HIPAA compliant
Work Schedule
This position is at 1.0 FTE
CCFPT Hours: 8:30am to 8:00pm; Monday – Friday (hours subject to change). As this is an exempt position, the actual work schedule may vary dependent upon the needs of the School.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• LPC or LMFT in the state of Colorado
• Experience working with electronic health records, preferably TheraNest/Point and Click
• Experience with and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with Medicaid/Medicare
• Knowledge of ICD-10/CPT coding
• High level of attention to detail
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bi-lingual Spanish speaking
• Demonstrated experience developing clinic policies and procedures
• Management/supervisory experience
