Position Overview: The Warehouse Sanitation Technician will perform sanitation tasks in the distribution warehouse.  This role will assist with occasional equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance. In addition, this role will be responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe environment by performing various cleaning tasks.  

To be successful in this role you must have attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness as this will directly contribute to the overall satisfaction and safety of our employees and customers. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.  

Core Responsibilities:  

• Perform facility sanitation as required by Master Sanitation Schedule and on-demand tasks. 

• Perform facility self-assessments and safety inspections.  

• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and environment in compliance with AIB and other certification standards. 

• Perform cleaning procedures as written in SSOP. 

• Maintain timely and accurate sanitation completion records. 

• Participate in safety committee meetings and initiatives. 

• Provide support for processing activities when necessary. 

• Understand and comply with all Food Safety and related programs, such as but not limited to GMP's, SSOPs, and Adverse Health Policy. 

• Perform other related duties as assigned by their supervisor.

Qualifications: 

Required:  

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.  

• Experience working in a food manufacturing facility.
