Summary of Position
The Associate Director of Strategic Client Marketing will play a leadership role in building our growth marketing strategy for critical segments, including Medicare, Medicaid and strategic Health Plan clients. He/she is responsible for developing strategies to drive enrollment and engagement for the eligible memberships of these clients. Developing the enrollment and engagement strategy will often require the ability to collaborate with and influence our key clients so there is buy-in. This associate director will work cross functionally with data science and client success to understand market and consumer dynamics and formulate data driven, targeted marketing strategies and test and learn campaigns. He/she will have a growth marketing mindset and have an excitement and willingness to find creative solutions, pilot new marketing opportunities and learn from marketing initiatives. Additionally, this leader will have the opportunity to work closely with clients to share marketing best practices and influence and persuade client adoption.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop tailored, compelling marketing plans, leveraging Teladoc Health’s and the client’s marketing channels, to accelerate growth. This includes creating the engagement strategy, driving alignment internally and with the client, implement/execute the strategy, evaluate the results and provide corrections to enhance the strategy if needed.
- Lead end-to-end marketing strategy for Medicare, Medicaid and strategic Health Plan clients
- Build relationships with cross-functional partners to uncover consumer needs and opportunities to drive utilization of Teladoc Health benefits
- Evaluate new channels and strategies using a P&L mindset, with comfort developing ROI models and ensuring proposed strategies are evaluated against financial measures. Comfort with data and analytics is a must.
- Continuously seek improvement in consumer marketing activity through rigorous results capture, data analysis, research and customer insight and actively share these best practices across the organization. Use these insights to make recommendations of new initiatives and opportunities.
- Inspire and lead a team of three direct reports.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Lead Medicare, Medicaid and strategic Health Plan client relationships, driving growth across their channels and ours
- Ownership of enrollment and visit revenue for Medicare and Medicaid segments, FEP, GEHA, Fl Blue and other strategic health plan clients
- Advocate cross-functionally for client’s needs
- Lead a strong and successful team
Qualifications Required for Position
- A strategic thinker, with the ability to think creatively and build strategies rooted in consumer insight, proactively using data and best practices to make suggestions and recommendations to our clients.
- A partner-oriented growth mindset, with the ability to understand client and Teladoc Health business needs and suggest initiatives and plans that delivers against both objectives.
- A results driver, with a keen focus on understanding the business economic drivers and prioritizing efforts accordingly
- Comfort with defining white space opportunities, embracing a test and learn mentality and swiftly scaling winning strategies
- Effective communication – this is a role that requires influencing both internal and external stakeholders. The individual must have excellent communication, relationship building and presentation skills.
- A strong consumer marketing background is essential –7+ year’s experience is required
- A strong project manager with a rigorous approach to prioritization.
- Strong team player with the ability to manage up, down and across the organization.
- Prior people management experience is a must.
The base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $150,000.
