This position can be located in any state we have an office.</p> <p><strong><em>This position offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement.</em></strong></p> <p><strong>The Position</strong></p> <p>Wilson Elser seeks a client-focused Partner-level attorney to join our nationally recognized Accounting Practice. This is a key leadership opportunity for a seasoned practitioner with a proven track record in defending accounting professionals and firms, and a deep understanding of the legal, regulatory, and business challenges impacting the accounting profession today. The ideal candidate will contribute immediately to our sophisticated practice, collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, and play a strategic role in firm growth.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Serve as lead counsel in litigation involving accounting malpractice, ethics proceedings, regulatory compliance matters, and other business dispute frequently encountered by accounting firms.</li> <li>Advise clients on risk management, ethics, licensing, partnership matters, M&amp;A activity, and internal governance.</li> <li>Manage and grow client relationships with a focus on strategic, long-term engagement.</li> <li>Work collaboratively across practice groups (e.g., cybersecurity, employment, commercial, and class actions) to offer comprehensive legal solutions.</li> <li>Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to business development initiatives within the practice and firmwide.</li> <li>Represent the firm externally through thought leadership, speaking engagements, and professi
