This role is part of Alcon's Training & Development function, a team that enhances employee skills, knowledge, and performance to align with the company's strategic goals and help our people and the world see brilliantly.

The Sr. Manager, Sales Training / Product Coaching (Professional Path) is primarily responsible for developing sales capabilities and executing training plans for product areas and key launches. You will design and implement Sales Force Effectiveness deliverables, including measuring product access, sales performance, segmentation, targeting, account planning, incentive calculation, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) management, and market analytics insights. Specifics include:

• Develop and run training courses to maintain and improve sales performance
• Support, develop, and deliver regional training programs per Global Product Development (GPD) guidelines for product information and selling skills
• Develop field staff capabilities to build stronger customer relationships using product knowledge and Global Positioning System (GPS)
• Liaise with Sales Managers to identify future training and business requirements
• Prepare and manage the training budget and plan for the region with marketing and sales requirements
• Meet and exceed the training needs of assigned markets through people and skill development
• Enhance sales teams' capabilities to achieve unit and value targets and grow market share of key product categories with strategic focus and alignment to organizational goals
