About the Role:
Tennessee Quality Care is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk (MRC) to join our Home Health team. In this role, you’ll help ensure accurate documentation and support our mission of delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.

What You’ll Do:
- Perform all medical record organization, including assembling new charts, performing initial audit, maintenance of chart organization and filing, and performing periodic audits for completeness of medical records
- Perform word processing of physician orders, including initial certification signatures, recertification signatures, and other orders
- Fax lab reports and other reports to physicians or other agencies involved in clients’ care
- Assemble mailings
- Participate in special projects as directed
- Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
- Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department
Qualifications:
- Be eighteen (18) years of age
- Have one (1) year general office experience
- Possess knowledge of medical terminology and previous experience with general clerical duties or the equivalent education and/or training
- Demonstrate ability to work with little supervision and make appropriate judgments in regard to work functions
- Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills necessary to complete job responsibilities
- Must have reliable transportation, current driver's license and appropriate automobile insurance; or ability to take public transportation
