Job Summary

Summary<br>Provides lessons in line, both group and private, as well as serving as a lifeguard. Monitor recreational areas, such as pools to provide assistance and protection to participants.<br><br>Does this position require Patient Care?<br>No<br><br>Essential Functions<br>-Oversee the Aquatic area for 3 Aquatic pools and Hot Tub area. <br>
-Informs the Aquatic Program Manger when supplies are needed or equipment needs repair or replacement. <br>
-Assist Swim Instructors with equipment or issues on deck. <br>
-Ensure participants meet course completion requirements. <br>
-Organize the class environment to ensure individual success. <br>
-Make sure all swim aids and accessories are put away at completion of your shift. <br>

 

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

Licenses and Credentials
Certified Basic Swim Instructor - Data Conversion - Various Issuers required HeartSaver CPR AED - American Heart Association (AHA) required Lifeguarding - American Red Cross required

Experience
Previous Lifeguard or Swim Instructor experience 1-2 years required
