About This Opportunity:
As a Manager, Provider Analytics, you will lead a team responsible for the accuracy, structure, and usability of enterprise provider data. You’ll partner closely with Product, Data Engineering, and Application Development to deliver high-quality analytics that power critical business decisions. This role blends people leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and strategic thinking that drives data integrity, improves processes, and shapes how provider data is leveraged across the organization.
Things You’ll Do Here:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Analysts by providing technical direction, reviewing deliverables, and guiding problem-solving approaches.
- Define and execute the provider analytics roadmap in alignment with product and enterprise data strategy.
- Set clear performance expectations, support professional development, and manage ongoing performance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in provider data, leading complex analyses to establish accurate provider identity, network status, affiliations, and hierarchy across multiple data sources.
- Design and support scalable, production-grade analytics workflows using SQL, Python, and Databricks.
- Ensure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of analytical outputs through strong validation and review practices.
- Partner cross-functionally with Data Engineering, Product, Application Development, and Client Success to deliver solutions, resolve complex issues, and support strategic initiatives.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and data reliability.
- Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies and best practices to strengthen provider data capabilities.
- Manage and track work through project management tools such as Azure DevOps and Salesforce.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- 5+ years of analytics experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or mentorship capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or Economics) or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience working with provider and medical claims data.
- Advanced SQL skills and working knowledge of Python, with experience supporting or reviewing production-level code.
- Proven ability to translate complex, ambiguous data into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy, validation, and quality.
- Experience identifying root causes and driving durable solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Master’s degree.
- Experience with Spark or other distributed processing frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Working knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
