Your Role:
As a Quality Service Engineer, you’ll be working with some of the industry’s brightest minds to build best-in-class vehicles. You will play a leading role in supporting and execute all service quality for our vehicle. You will work collaboratively with various engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to develop high service quality processes enabling the best product, risk analysis, problem solving and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Initiates automotive services and repairs by ascertaining performance problems.
- Verifies warranty and service contract coverage, developing estimates, writing repair orders, and maintaining customer rapport and records requested.
- Ascertains automotive problems and services by listening to customer’s description of symptoms, clarifying description of problems, conducting inspections, taking test drives, checking vehicle maintenance records, and examining service schedules.
- Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor.
- Calculates customer’s payment, including deductibles.
- Prepares repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required.
- Obtains approval signatures and enters RO into service database system.
- Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle, obtaining customer’s approval of estimates, obtaining, and providing contact telephone numbers, answering questions and concerns, and arranging towing and temporary transportation.
- Maintains automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading manufacturers’ publications.
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments Manage and manage all aspects of customer satisfaction, including sales, inventory management, training, and performance improvement.
- Maintain accurate records for each repair performed by the service quality team.
- Provide leadership to support team members in meeting company goals.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a service engineer with an automotive dealership preferred.
- Experience working on multiple projects and managing teams is required (either directly or indirectly)
- Must be detail-oriented to ensure quality customer service while maintaining high standards for accuracy.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- A wide range of experience with CAD, Tools Net, JIRA, or other industry relevant software
- Excellent communication skills and team-working tendencies

Annual Salary Range:
($75K-$95K), plus benefits and incentive plans
