Microsoft Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Team is growing fast and looking for a Senior Software Engineer, who is committed to provide best in class data protection for Microsoft customers. Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer in this position your areas of focus will be Protection and Enterprise features in the Microsoft Data Loss Prevention (DLP) product.

• Design and implement features that are reliable and efficient.
• Work closely with engineers from different partner teams, Program Managers and other Security Engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python 
  • OR equivalent experience. 
• 4+ years of experience in the software engineering industry with solid problem-solving skills, specifically with coding and validation in C/C++ or similar

Other Requirements:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
  - This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
