Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hygiene Dental Assistant who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care. In this role, you will support our hygiene team with both clinical and administrative tasks while helping create a comfortable and welcoming experience for every patient.We welcome candidates with experience, but we are also happy to train individuals who are eager to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients, ensuring comfort and a positive experience
• Prepare patients for hygiene procedures and routine examinations
• Set up, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment according to safety standards
• Assist hygienists chairside during procedures, including coronal polishing (if certified)
• Provide patients with oral hygiene education and post-treatment instructions
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked operatories

Qualifications

• Dental assisting experience is a plus, but not required—we provide training
• Familiarity with dental instruments and sterilization procedures preferred
• Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clinical procedures
• Basic computer skills; dental software experience is a plus
• A positive attitude and strong commitment to patient care
