Associate Manager, Global Brand Communications
Brand Communications
- Manage the collection and distribution of global communications tools and resources for both internal and external partners
- Develop and maintain asset tracker, timelines and communications calendar for campaign, key projects/ launches
- Liaise with copy team on messaging for press materials
- Create, edit and route press materials for internal approvals including press releases, messaging documents, pitches, BTS assets, etc. to leadership and legal teams
- Assist as department liaison with international market PRs, communicating brand standards, obligations and deadlines effectively to ensure consistency across Global PR strategy and messaging
- Oversee, track and route market press requests including PR press plans, regional assets, PR event plans, etc. – identify key cross-functional partners for international initiatives and foster communication
Executive Communications
- Support in executing communications strategy building senior leadership profiles and brand recognition
- Research and vet thought leadership opportunities including speaking engagements, podcasts, interviews, awards, etc.
- Develop briefing documents and award submission applications
- Work with market PR counterparts on local opportunities for brand/executive press, tracking and coordinating opportunities with executive travel
- Craft / develop pitches, support storytelling
Internal Communications
- Work with Tapestry Internal Communications Team to provide updates and ensure Coach messaging is being communicated across appropriate channels including newsletters and company social media channels
- Manage updates of internal presentations and orchestration documents leveraging data and insights to measure communications impact for projects
Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of PR experience required
- Strong executive presence, with a proven track record of working with senior level executives and C-suite
- Ability to work independently and confidently while paying close attention to detail
- Strong writing communications skills, with a proven track record of developing and delivering multi-channel communications preferred
- Press relationships / contacts with business, industry and marketing media titles
- Basic finance knowledge and analytical skills in order to present impactful data to stakeholders
- Experience and proficiency with media monitoring tools (LaunchMetrics experience preferred)
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate with and influence internal and external partners
- Self-starter with strong initiative, ownership and accountability for business
