Your Responsibilities

 

As a Senior Hardware Engineer, Advanced Engineering for JD Intelligent Solutions Group  located in Fargo, ND, you will:

 

• Conduct electromagnetics simulations and validate simulations with measurements. Simulations would be at a Printed Circuit Board level, module level, and system level.
• Design and test embedded circuitry.
• Operate in a team environment and may act as lead person, providing technical leadership and design solutions. May assign, coordinate and review portions of the work to other engineers and support personnel.
• Provide technical consultation and a knowledge base.
• Be recognized as an expert across a product line.

What Skills You Need

Experience with the following: 

 

• An Electromagnetics FEM tool (Ansys HFSS or similar). 
• Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) 
• Spectrum Analyzer (SA) 
• Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing Techniques and Procedures 
• Matlab (or similar) 
• Schematic Capture and PCB CAD Software

 

What Makes You Standout

Experience with the following: 

 

• Microwave Engineering 
• Experience with solving Electromagnetic Compatibility problems CISPR 25 
• Antenna Design and Simulation 
• RF Cabling and Harnessing 
• Signal Integrity/Power Integrity Simulation 
• PhD Electromagentics Related Field 

 

Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

• Master's Degree in Applied Electromagentics Related Field or Equivalent Level
