Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Hardware Engineer, Advanced Engineering for JD Intelligent Solutions Group located in Fargo, ND, you will:
- Conduct electromagnetics simulations and validate simulations with measurements. Simulations would be at a Printed Circuit Board level, module level, and system level.
- Design and test embedded circuitry.
- Operate in a team environment and may act as lead person, providing technical leadership and design solutions. May assign, coordinate and review portions of the work to other engineers and support personnel.
- Provide technical consultation and a knowledge base.
- Be recognized as an expert across a product line.

What Skills You Need
Experience with the following:
- An Electromagnetics FEM tool (Ansys HFSS or similar).
- Vector Network Analyzer (VNA)
- Spectrum Analyzer (SA)
- Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing Techniques and Procedures
- Matlab (or similar)
- Schematic Capture and PCB CAD Software
What Makes You Standout
Experience with the following:
- Microwave Engineering
- Experience with solving Electromagnetic Compatibility problems CISPR 25
- Antenna Design and Simulation
- RF Cabling and Harnessing
- Signal Integrity/Power Integrity Simulation
- PhD Electromagentics Related Field
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Master's Degree in Applied Electromagentics Related Field or Equivalent Level
