Job Purpose and Impact
The Protein Risk Senior Analyst will develop understanding around end-to-end processes to better identify risks and execute risk management strategies in alignment with business objectives. This position will also provide market outlooks, quantify market risks, and help develop processes to manage risk more effectively.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in daily risk position reconciliation and management. This would include hedging as well as verifying any PnL impacts.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to provide consistent communication to customers on risk positions, market bias, targets, coverage versus plan and strategy.
- Provide market insights, hedging solutions and active hedging strategies in the physical supply chain and execute within the individual trading strategies that align with trading bias to manage internal risk positions.
- Support the build out of better risk visibility and develop strategies that allow for risk management by implementing innovative and compelling offerings that promote better end to end risk management.
- Develop execution capabilities with futures, options, and risk management products to meet business risk management objectives.
- Monitor relevant commodity markets to review activity and participate to make recommendations to the commercial team to maximize profit returns and minimize risk and keep market positions within the established limits.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience

- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
