POSITION SUMMARY:
Join as a Sr. Inbound/Outbound Coordinator in Supply Chain Operations! You'll be a crucial part of keeping things running smoothly, managing tasks like inventory, analyzing inbound/outbound processes, and supporting operations through EWM and SAP processing. Your main goal: efficient work distribution for seamless freight flow, meeting time goals and customer orders daily. - Night Shift, 2-2-3: Enjoy a predictable schedule within our 12-hour shifts organized in 2 days on, 2 days off, and 3 days on rotation, providing a balance between work and personal time.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:
- Coordinate daily operations using SAP EWM to assign workloads based on scheduled appointments and priority, covering inventory, inbound (IB), and outbound (OB) functions.
- Utilize NYMS yard management to arrange trailer moves, ensuring alignment with dock doors for shipping and receiving.
- Conduct periodic audits on NYMS, BOL, ICC, and quality, ensuring compliance when filing BOLs at the end of each shift.
- Address flow issues promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring uninterrupted facility operations, while compiling daily reports on workload status and tracking past due carriers for outbound appointments.
- Support operational initiatives, projects, and inventory control, ensuring adherence to guidelines, processes, SOPs, and participating in mandatory training sessions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school Diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree or higher education is preferred and /or equivalent experience.
SKILLS:
- Work independently with minimal supervision, showcasing self-motivation and initiative.
- Proficient in technology and software applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
