Part-time Classroom Facilitators (Philadelphia, PA) (SY 2023-2024)

Schedule: 8:30am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday

COMPENSATION

$175.00 Per Day ($25 per hour)

Teachers on Demand, INC. seeks upstanding community members, and former educators and military to join our team of dedicated substitutes to educate young scholars in all subjects. You must have more than three days a week available and be committed to shaping the next generation.

The school is a public charter school educating young scholars from Kindergarten to 6th Grade. The school is dedicated to improving the lives of its students by providing authentic learning experiences in a collaborative, nurturing environment that will build a foundation for students’ success in school, career, and in life. As our partners’ primary provider, we seek reliable and accountable educators to join our team of educators at our partner schools.

Requirements

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (Must Have)
• Valid teaching certification/license (Nice to have)
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a classroom setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and administration.
• Thorough understanding and expertise in the subject area being taught.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Proficiency in using educational technology tools.
• Experience in lesson planning and preparation.
