Sanitation Technician

 SummaryTo maintain the sanitation of the site within food quality standards.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:· Cleaning, sweeping, mopping the facility as needed.· Maintain the outside grounds of facility. · Complete cleaning tasks and duties related to the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).· Audit areas for cleanliness and complete documentation around sanitation checks.· Address any spills or leaks immediately.· Follow written instructions to maintain clean and orderly work area.· Understand production equipment and operation to properly clean and sanitize.· Use chemicals and safe handling procedures to complete cleaning tasks.· Stock and replenish supplies as needed.· Perform general housekeep and janitorial duties such as trash removal, cleaning.· Maintain chemical storage area.· Other duties as assigned pertaining to janitorial and housekeeping.
Qualifications:· Must be able to read and speak English.
Education:· High School Education or equivalency.Preferred Experience:

• Clean-in-place (CIP) experience is preferred.
• Housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment      preferred.
