This internship position role will support Supply Chain Diverse, Local Supplier and ESG initiatives. A Student Intern will be a full-time college student at an accredited four-year institution of higher learning. This internship is designed to give college students practical work experience in their field of study. This position is ideal for someone with a major in Supply Chain Management, Environmental or Sustainability Studies, Business, or Accounting.

Job Duties / Responsibilities include:

Duties will primarily be to assist in supporting and developing special initiatives in Supply Chain around the Local & Diverse Supplier and Supply Chain Sustainability programs.

• Assist in implementing the SC ESG strategy and around local and diverse spend in Supply Chain. 
• Support local events and initiatives in the community, virtual trainings and other supplier development events
• Assist with supporting sustainability and diverse spend programming
• Compile and articulate best practices in supplier diversity and sustainability
•  Engage with other SC team members and internal/external stakeholders to execute on ESG initiatives.
• Performing other duties, as assigned by management.

 

Minimum education required of the position:

Candidate must be enrolled in accredited institution of higher learning . 3.0 GPA or higher

• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Self-starter with motivation to deliver results
• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to listen and share insights and have a questioning attitude. New ideas are always encouraged.
• Good computer skills (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to visualize and interpret data and communicate it
