About the role

The Health Promotion Board (HPB) is seeking a highly motivated, innovative and dynamic candidate to advance health promotion through the deployment of cutting-edge research. The job holder will play an important role in managing and implementing large scale research cohorts that will facilitate the collection of rich learnings and data insights towards advancing health promotion through the translation of research to practice.

Job Responsibilities

The job holder will be a key contributor of the research cohort management team by:

  • Assisting in the development of technology-enabled research studies through research planning and administration, including participant recruitment and engagement,
  • Ensuring the smooth implementation of end-to-end study activities and processes in compliance with regulatory, ethics and governance requirements,
  • Engaging and managing collaboration partners and vendors to oversee and support various aspects of the study administration, and
  • Developing and implementing participant engagement strategies to maintain high rates of engagement and retention among study participants.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong project management skills
  • Able to multi-task and handle concurrent projects; works well in a fast-paced environment effectively
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable engaging with members of public
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to think independently to offer resolutions to issues or barriers stakeholders may face
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Familiarity with research and data analysis will be an added bonus

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in business, social sciences, life sciences, public health, or any related discipline
  • Preferably with at least 1-2 years of relevant working experience in project/account management. Candidates without relevant working experience but can demonstrate strong interest and aptitude may be considered.
