About the role

JOB SUMMARY:

Drive improvement projects related to quality and/or cycle time improvement as well as scrap and/or cost reduction in a high-volume semiconductor wafer fab. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Implement lower cost diffusion resistivity monitor wafers. 

  • Implement dedicated thin oxide and thick oxide rework/reuse routes for diffusion thickness monitor wafers. 

  • Assist with running trials to improve thermal flat zones in high temp horizontal diffusion furnaces. 

  • Update vertical and horizontal diffusion furnaces recipe documentation. 

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:   

  • Junior or Senior undergraduate engineering student

  • Some prior knowledge and/or practical experience in nanotechnology and/or semiconductor processing, preferred

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Strong attention to detail  

DETAILS:  

  • On-site, M-F 1st shift 

  • Temporary, Full-Time, 40 hours a week

  • Hourly rate, does not qualify for benefits 

  • Drug screen and background check required 

 

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Corporate and departmental orientations  

  • General: SPC, Annual Hazardous Waste and Right-to-Know, Annual EMS  

  • Other training, as assigned
