JOB SUMMARY:
Drive improvement projects related to quality and/or cycle time improvement as well as scrap and/or cost reduction in a high-volume semiconductor wafer fab.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement lower cost diffusion resistivity monitor wafers.
Implement dedicated thin oxide and thick oxide rework/reuse routes for diffusion thickness monitor wafers.
Assist with running trials to improve thermal flat zones in high temp horizontal diffusion furnaces.
Update vertical and horizontal diffusion furnaces recipe documentation.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Junior or Senior undergraduate engineering student
Some prior knowledge and/or practical experience in nanotechnology and/or semiconductor processing, preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
DETAILS:
On-site, M-F 1st shift
Temporary, Full-Time, 40 hours a week
Hourly rate, does not qualify for benefits
Drug screen and background check required
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Corporate and departmental orientations
General: SPC, Annual Hazardous Waste and Right-to-Know, Annual EMS
Other training, as assigned
