Part-time Adult Education Site Facilitator

POSITION PURPOSE:
Under the general supervision of the Director of Adult Education, the part-time Site Facilitator will be responsible for traveling and performing facilitating duties at assigned class sites in assigned counties.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for incoming and outgoing records with instructional staff.
• Must be willing to monitor classes at night and work some weekends when needed.
• Be familiar with rules and regulations of the Adult Education program.
• Assist with the AE Program’s In-Services, Registrations, Trainings and Workshops.
• Meet deadlines for all paperwork and time sheets.
• Travel to classes in assigned area to monitor, conduct site visits, and deliver/pick-up supplies and paperwork.
• Conduct student evaluations of the program.
• Support and assist new instructional staff.
• Assist with the organization of the AEL Celebration ceremony and all other special events.
• Be certified to administer all state approved testing instruments used by the Adult Education program.
• Oversee Adult Education assessments required by Texas Workforce Commission (TWC).
• Recruit qualified staff and program participants.
• Assist with assessment of students as needed.
• Assist in training instructional aides in their day-to-day functions.
• Submit weekly report to Director regarding Site Facilitator activities.
• Update on needs of assigned area and staff.
• Validate data entered into TEAMS by Data Specialist.
• Collaborate with Data Specialist to file and manage program paperwork, check for errors, and corrections on paperwork for data entry.
• Conduct post-exit follow-up services to track post-secondary enrollment and employment activities of students.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Detail orientated.
• Ability to focus in a fast-paced and active environment.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
• Associate’s degree.
Preferred:
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Knowledge of and experience with Adult Education.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Variances from regular working hours may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
• Busy working environment with numerous interruptions.
• Evening hours during the week. Some weekends are required.
• Adjust schedule to stay within 19 hours weekly.
• Hold valid Driver’s License and have reliable transportation.
• Extensive travel within assigned area.

SALARY: $20. per hour / up to 19 hours per week
