This position reports to:

Inventory Manager

In this role you will have the opportunity to oversee warehouse operations, managing a team of employees who receive, handle, store and dispatch products, systems and services to customers. Each day, you will lead and support your team to ensure efficient warehouse operations, maintain inventory accuracy, enforce safety standards, and coordinate the timely receipt and dispatch of goods. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying process improvements, training team members, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

The work model for the role is on-site position based in Senatobia, MS.

You will be assigned to Shift B - Monday to Thursday from 4 pm to 2 am.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in the United States.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimizing warehouse capacity, inventory, and floor utilization and supervising and assisting in daily warehouse and shipping operations.

  • Coding and preparing proper receipt/dispatch paperwork.

  • Ensuring maintenance of equipment and facilities and identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary.

  • Recommending measures to improve service quality, increase departmental efficiency, and boost the performance of work crews and equipment; and ensuring stock accuracy by conducting periodic stock takes and/or cycle counting.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 4+ years of manufacturing production supervisory experience required. 

  • Attention to detail, time efficiency, and utilization of manpower.

  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office.

  • Knowledge and understanding of an ERP system, SAP highly preferred.

  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
