Director, EMS

Job Description:

The Director of EMS is responsible for organizing, directing, and managing the daily operations of Baptist Health Louisville EMS. This role involves supervising and coordinating the activities of team members who provide emergency medical services and overseeing departmental operations such as non-emergency transports. The director has oversight of department strategic planning, quality improvement, finance and budgeting, and developing a competent staff.

Requirements:

Associate degree or greater required (will consider experience in lieu of degree)

Must be a licensed EMTor Paramedic in the state of Kentucky

A minimum of five years job related experience to include leadership, regulatory compliance, and quality initiatives.

Valid driver's license required.

ACLS and BLS required for applicable Paramedic candidates.
