JOB SUMMARYPerforms diagnostic assessment and therapeutic interventions within local public school system. Therapeutic services include individual, group and family therapy, as well as crisis intervention with some guidance. Maintains contact with family and community agencies and makes referrals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides individual, group, and family psychotherapy to elementary and middle school students in the local public school system.
Develop treatment plans and complete progress notes according to TN Department of Mental Health Best Practice Guidelines.
Engages in targeted evidence-based interventions in clinical practice with patients.
Acts as a clinical liaison with patient, family, treatment team, and school community.
Contributes to the program and organization by actively participating in process improvement initiatives and shared decision-making.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES
• Patient Assessment (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate patient assessments in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
• Clinical Counseling (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate clinical counseling in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
• Patient Diagnosis (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate patient diagnosis in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
• Peer Leadership (Fundamental Awareness): Works well with others. Is receptive to ideas and suggestions from team members. Meets with peers and others whenever necessary. Shares ideas and workload with members of the team. Demonstrates initiative when dealing with others. Strives to overcome assignment obstacles before seeking support.
