About the role

Description:

Ensures a secure environment for customers and employees by designing patrol routes, monitoring schedules, testing and inspecting alarms, maintaining surveillance systems, conducting regular inspections, reporting any irregularities, issuing security badges, and enforcing security policies and procedures. This role also includes supervising staff and managing brand protection software while working closely with the team.

Schedule:

1st Shift - 7am - 3:30pm EST Tuesday to Saturday


Essential Functions:

  • Supervises security employee outcomes by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures. Oversee Command Center Operations including the logistical tracking of commercial shipments, inspection of video and access systems.
  • Analyze, investigate matters related to ELT members and Brand Protection. Conduct analytical work, identifying and evaluating threats from social media and the dark web.
  • Secures facilities, operations, and personnel by designing patrol routes; monitoring timetables; surveying and testing alarms; maintaining surveillance; conducting inspections; reporting irregularities; issuing security badges; responding to emergencies.
  • Partner closely with the Security and HR Communications teams to ensure the effective and timely communication of company messages related to security and integrity issues.
  • Ensures security operational and financial standards are met by contributing to strategic plans, implementing production, quality, safety, and security standards, resolving issues, identifying improvements, and managing the budget, expenditures, and corrective actions.
  • Maintains and improves operations by enforcing security policies, reporting needed changes, and enhancing job knowledge through workshops, professional publications, networking, and participation in industry organizations.
  • Maintains security fleet by compiling and analyzing vehicle logs; identifying maintenance and repair requirements; scheduling service appointments; recommending purchases of new vehicles.
  • Improves security management job knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

Education:

  • Associate Degree Regulatory, Compliance, Law Enforcement, IT or Military equivalent - Required
  • Bachelors Degree Regulatory, Compliance, Law Enforcement, IT or Military equivalent - Preferred

Experience:

  • 2 years or more experience with Regulatory, Security, IT, Law Enforcement or Military equivalent

Skills:

  • Competent in required job skills and knowledge. Exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills. Keeps abreast of current developments. Requires minimal supervision. Displays understanding of how job relates to others. Uses resources effectively. MS Office. - Intermediate
  • Must possess excellent command of both verbal and written English and exhibit excellent customer service skills - Intermediate
  • Must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, regulatory agencies and the general public. - Intermediate
  • Good analytical and data interpretation skills. Is able to synthesize complex and diverse information, recognizing trends. Assimilates information, analyzes and reaches sound conclusions. Able to identify problems and opportunities and proactively present solutions through detailed analysis of information and data. - Intermediate
  • Must have strong knowledge of computer hardware and software. Possess the ability to install, troubleshoot, and program new and existing hardware or software. - Intermediate
  • Maintains a strong sense of knowledge among the technical security environment including systems pertaining to CCTV, access control, burglar alarm systems, etc. - Intermediate
  • Demonstrates high level of IT skills and understanding of various fields of programming software or hardware. - Intermediate
  • Must possess strong working knowledge of programming enterprise access control, video management; alarm and security management systems. - Intermediate
