We’re seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our Central Marketing team, focused on building out the platforms and systems needed to serve both our internal teams and our clients that range from small to enterprise-sized businesses around the world. In this role, you’ll report to our Senior Full Stack Developer, and help create scalable, maintainable web applications from the ground up within a complex ecosystem. You’ll utilize modern frameworks like React and Next.js with our new Contentful-based headless CMS and work closely with both internal and external teams to develop front-to-back-end solutions. The central Worldpay marketing team is a newly formed dynamic and results-oriented group that is focused on driving success, growth, and a first-class user experience. Clients vary across many industries and sectors, as well as size and geography.

What you will be doing:
Worldpay is looking to hire a Junior Full Stack Developer to be a key leader in the development of our web platforms managed by our central marketing group.

• You will work closely with internal and external teams within an agile framework and help maintain and improve company-wide frameworks as we bring in a variety of web properties.
• Your approach should be consultative in nature and show an ability to creatively translate requirements into efficient solutions that maintain our platform’s integrity.

You will:

• Develop and maintain web applications on our Contentful headless CMS platform
• Review technical specifications and re-engineering program components
• Participate in code reviews.
• Re-engineer program components Identifies and resolves simple to medium complexity production problems during the cutover phase
• Collaborate with internal and external UI/UX designers, project managers, and QA engineers to define and implement innovative features.
• Participate in a consultative process to help ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and translate them into high-quality code.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and SEO.
• Maintain and improve website architecture as we expand our solutions to multiple web properties.
• Execute conversion plans such as conversion from legacy to newly developed applications, conversion plan for upgrades etc
• Unit test applications for functionality.
• Coordinate with testing team to solve bugs
• Aware of basic information security awareness protocols, software security in the SDLC lifecycle, and OWASP
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in headless CMS, API development, and front-end frameworks.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in the software development field including demonstrated experience developing web-based applications
• Hands on experience with Angular and/or React framework (e.g Angular, React/Redux, etc.)
• Extensive experience with a JavaScript unit testing framework
• Experience with React, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Sass ("Sassy CSS") TypeScript and NodeJS/npm tools
• Understanding of single-page-application concepts/architecture
• Experience in Integration with SOAP and REST based services
• Experience with agile and/or DevOps processes and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
• An analytical mindset with the ability to perform data analysis and develop strategies for improvement.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Google Analytics and GTM Google Tag Manager
• CMS – Contentful, Sitecore, and Marketo
• AWS and Github (or similar) experience
