SUPERVISES: Clinicians, practitioners, case managers and treatment support staff.

EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT: W-2

 

SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Executive Director is responsible for the daily operations, marketing growth, financial performance, and regulatory compliance of Silver Maple Recovery. Silver Maple Recovery is a subacute detox and short-term residential addiction treatment facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

 

  1. Responsible for primary tasks associated with but not limited to obtaining and maintaining program licensure with the State of Ohio and JCAHO certification.
  2. Responsible for primary tasks associated with but not limited to pursuing and evaluating new marketing, service, and programming avenues as needed.
  3. Responsible for building census and marketing Silver Maple Recovery in the Community and to referral sources
  4. Responsible for meeting the budgetary goals and achieving the financial performance targets of Silver Maple Recovery
  5. Responsible for the evaluation and selection of ancillary service providers to assist the care and services provided at Silver Maple Recovery
  6. Recruits, develops, and hires employees to fill open positions at Silver Maple Recovery
  7. Responsible for the management and supervision of all Silver Maple employees
  8. Performs all job duties within the health and safety guidelines of the organization.
  9. Performs all job duties within the written guidelines of the behavioral, ethical, and conduct codes of the organization.
  10. Directs the implementation of policies, procedures, and programming in a manner resulting in high quality services
  11. Educates and trains staff in all accreditation, Federal and State regulations, billing codes, and the required appropriate documentation
  12. Maintains employee performance documentation through conducting 90-day and annual performance evaluations
  13. Evaluates the effectiveness and efficiencies of the treatment services through valid and reliable performance indicators.
  14. Maintains current licenses and certifications as required by the State.
  15. Coordinate and participate as member of Supervisory On-Call and emergency client crisis coverage rotation
  16. Manages all other duties assigned by the Director of Operations

LEVEL OF EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. BA or BS Degree with a valid chemical dependency license required. LPCC, LISW or LCDC license preferred.
  2. Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience or program management experience in Substance Abuse Care Delivery or in an Addiction Treatment facility, Health and Human Services Agency, or related field, with residential experience preferred.
  3. Advanced skills in PC/Word processing/database/spreadsheets/systems, and integrating the advanced skills to produce complex reports and documents.
  4. Excellent organizational, prioritization, and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regularly walk, stand or stoop; occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and regularly drives a motor vehicle.
