About the role

Responsibilities:

  • Must have a strong understanding of construction documentation, construction administration, and the ability to coordinate healthcare-specific project details with other team members.
  • Assist the Project Architect with architectural design processes from conceptual design to the completion of healthcare projects, including hospitals, clinics, and medical facilities.
  • Complete architectural design drawings tailored to healthcare environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and patient safety requirements.
  • Prepare detailed construction drawings focusing on healthcare facility needs, such as infection control, medical equipment integration, and patient flow.
  • Implement redline changes and revisions to project drawings in collaboration with healthcare consultants, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Develop presentation graphics to communicate healthcare design concepts to clients and regulatory agencies effectively.
  • Support the Project Architect in developing presentations for healthcare clients, showcasing solutions that meet operational and clinical needs.
  • Propose alternative solutions to challenges in healthcare projects under the guidance of the Project Manager and Project Architect.
  • Attend required or assigned healthcare-specific training sessions, keeping up with healthcare codes, guidelines, and technology.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, especially related to healthcare project management.
  • Occasional travel as needed for on-site healthcare project coordination and client meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master's degree a plus).
  • Working towards architectural registration.
  • Minimum 1-5 years of professional experience in Architecture, with a focus on healthcare projects and experience using Revit.
  • Experience in healthcare architecture, with a passion for creating healing environments in hospitals, clinics, and medical facilities.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to interact with healthcare clients and consultants effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in the context of healthcare facility design and patient-centered solutions.
  • Must be detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and committed to delivering projects that meet both functional and regulatory standards in healthcare architecture.
