Job Description:

The Associate Vice President, Enterprise Conduct and Insider Risk Management plays a key leadership role in strengthening the organization’s ethical culture, governance, and risk management practices. This leader is responsible for designing and advancing enterprise-wide programs that identify, assess, and mitigate conduct and insider risks, while fostering integrity, transparency, and trust across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of conduct and insider risk frameworks, policies, and standards.

  • Provide oversight and challenge to the first line of defense to ensure risks are properly identified, measured, and managed.

  • Partner with key stakeholders across risk, compliance, HR, legal, cybersecurity, and business functions to strengthen governance and accountability.

  • Champion a culture of ethics and responsible behavior by driving awareness, training, and internal engagement programs.

  • Deliver clear, actionable risk reporting and insights to senior leadership, governance committees, and regulators.

  • Oversee enterprise conduct and insider risk committees, ensuring effective decision-making and follow-through.

  • Manage key projects and initiatives designed to elevate control effectiveness and organizational resilience.

Key Capabilities and Experience

  • Deep expertise in conduct and insider risk management, ethics, or related areas such as compliance, operational risk, or employee investigations.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory expectations and industry standards related to conduct, insider threats, and governance.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute complex risk frameworks and strategies across large, matrixed organizations.

  • Skilled at providing independent oversight and challenge while maintaining strong business partnerships.

  • Demonstrated leadership in driving change, influencing senior executives, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for broad audiences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, risk management, law, or a related discipline; advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., CRMP, CCEP, CAMS) preferred.

  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in risk management, compliance, or governance, with a focus on conduct or insider risk.

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.

  • Experience leading enterprise programs and teams, with an emphasis on collaboration and innovation.
