Project Engineer

Job Description:

Ryan Companies US, Inc has an immediate opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our team in Dallas! In this entry-level construction role, you will support the project team in completing a designated project while actively learning Ryan's processes, procedures, and business policies. You will gain hands-on experience in both field and office operations while working on a construction site.

Some things you can expect to do:

• Help generate Requests for Information (RFIs) and track approvals

• Monitor and maintain shop drawing log and shop drawing coordination

• Assist Project Manager & Superintendent with creating and executing field action plans

• Assist in coordinating and tracking Vendor & Subcontractor deliveries

• Gain an understanding for overall site logistics and jurisdictional permit inspection processes

• Accompany Ryan personnel and Owner on punchlist inspections, record punchlist items, and monitor completion of punchlist work

To be successful in this role, you must have a four-year degree in construction management or related field or a two-year constructions certificate with at least 2 years of industry experience. Ability to demonstrate understanding of mathematical calculations, architectural and engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost-coding systems is required. You must be able to assume responsibility & interface and communicate effectively with a great attitude and work ethic.
