Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Practice Manager, Registered Nurse.
Position Status: Full time
Position Location: Sentara Medical Group Cardiology Specialists Fort Norfolk (Primary location but will be traveling to 9 different clinics in Hampton Roads)
Standard Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm
Overview
The RN Practice Manager partners with physician practice leadership in a dyad model to ensure the efficient and effective operations of one or more clinics/practices. Provides supervision of staff, clinical expertise, and oversight of all aspects of operations including patient care, customer service, budget, risk management. Ensures compliance with organizational and ambulatory care policies, regulations and standards of care and practice and competency of clinical and non-clinical staff. Accountable for developing, monitoring and engaging team members and other resources to improve financial performance, patient experience, quality, safety, access and team member performance.
Masters Level Degree, clinical experience, and leadership experience in ambulatory care environment preferred.
Education
- Bachelor's degree
Certification/Licensure
- RN (Required) - Active in Virginia
- BLS (Required within 90 days)
Experience
- 3 years of Supervisory experience
- 3 years of experience within Healthcare
- Experience with Cardiology (preferred)
- Experience with Electrophysiology (preferred)
