We are seeking a driven, outgoing and seasoned Information and Local Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team, taking on a crucial role in ensuring compliance and medical accuracy across our promotional and non-promotional materials. As a key member of our Compliance team, you will serve as the final medical signatory for product lines while providing expert guidance on regulatory requirements and industry codes of practice. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your medical and scientific expertise while collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop compliant and competitive marketing materials. Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role: 
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance & Certification – Review, approve, and certify all marketing materials for prescription medicines and medical devices in Germany and Austria, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and Codes of Practice. Serve as the key liaison with regulatory authorities.
  • Champion Compliance & Ethical Standards – Oversee adherence to anti-corruption regulations, industry codes, and internal standards, fostering a culture of integrity across all business activities.
  • Stay Ahead of Evolving Regulations – Continuously develop expertise in local Codes of Practice and Medical Device regulations through ongoing internal and external training, ensuring the company remains ahead of industry standards.
  • Drive Business Success Through Compliance Expertise – Leverage deep knowledge of Aesthetic Medicine, regulatory frameworks, and Evolus products to provide actionable, strategic guidance that enables the creation of compliant, compelling, and differentiated materials, campaigns, and services.
  • Be a Trusted Advisor – Act as the go-to expert for the cross-functional team, proactively and reactively providing regulatory and compliance advice to shape responsible and effective commercial strategies.
  • Educate & Empower Teams – Lead regular internal training sessions on EFPIA, AKG, and Medical Devices Code(s) of Practice, as well as advertising and anti-corruption regulations, in collaboration with the Compliance Department.
  • Lead Regulatory Responses & Risk Management – In partnership with Legal Counsel, spearhead responses to external inquiries or complaints from authorities or industry peers. Maintain a proactive Risk Register, conduct internal audits, and implement Corrective & Preventative Actions (CAPA) to mitigate potential risks.
  • Maintain Operational Excellence – Ensure strict adherence to company standard operating procedures, compliance documentation, and training records to uphold a best-in-class regulatory environment. 
 Skills and Qualifications Required for this Dynamic Team Member:     
  • 5+ years of experience as an Information and Local Compliance Officer, with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks.
  • Licensed pharmacist or medical practitioner, ensuring deep expertise in medical and pharmaceutical compliance.
  • Background in Aesthetic Medicine is a plus, but not required—we value diverse industry experience.
  • Strong collaborator and influencer, with the ability to navigate cross-functional teams, solve problems effectively, and communicate with impact.
  • Adaptable and decisive, demonstrating sound judgment and the ability to make informed decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, capable of working independently while contributing to a high-performing team.
  • Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in both English and German, ensuring seamless communication in a global business environment.
