About the role

Entry Specialist within the KASCO Field Service/Sales (Commission Level VI) job family. Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks. Complexity & Problem Solving: Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. Has little or no role in decision-making. Collaboration & Interaction: Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Works under close supervision.
Entry Specialist (Hourly) Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

One-year certificate from college or technical school with six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Technical skills:  Essentials

  • Mechanical aptitude - able diagnose problems and technically comprehend Kasco’s service program
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Proficient with tools; demonstrated ability to perform repairs
  • Able to properly order and deliver repair items
  • Ability and desire to be computer literate with apps and programs used in scope of job
  • Able to read and follow a map and use GPS
  • Able to manage van inventory and replenishment
  • Ability to read and interpret machine schematic drawings.

           

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

To read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to communicate effectively with customers and fellow employees.

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Applies common sense. Able to successfully handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.   Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
