Position Overview:

 

Under limited supervision of the Analytics Manager, the Digital Business Analyst works closely with the Web Development, eCommerce, Marketing and IT departments in the development of reports, projects, and company initiatives.

 

Projects range from the strategic to the very operational and could include business planning, providing useful insights, supporting the creation of the retention strategy, evaluating growth opportunities, building / analyzing data sources of truth, and regular review of key performance metrics.

 

The results include custom performance analysis, building scalable reporting, and packaging findings into presentation-ready content for Imperial Supplies department leaders. The role requires interaction with various areas of the organization.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish tracking methodologies to measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Full cycle management of analysis projects including gathering stakeholder agreement and buy-in thru presentation.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards that highlight campaign performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Present data and reporting including deciphering data to non-technical associates and having full functional knowledge and background of data to reply to questions and inquiries.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of digital marketing channels, including but not limited to paid search, display advertising, email marketing, social media, and website analytics.
  • Utilize BI tools and visual analysis software to create visually appealing and interactive reports that communicate data insights effectively.
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve data accuracy, data collection processes, and data integration across different systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate marketing data with other business data sources, enabling a holistic view of customer behavior and marketing performance.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and deep dives into specific marketing campaigns or customer segments to uncover insights and opportunities for optimization.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in digital marketing analytics, data analysis techniques, and industry best practices.

 

 

 

                                                                                                                                       

Minimum Education and Experience:  Associate degree or equivalent experience. Moderate technical knowledge and understanding of the back-end functional work of Google Analytics (GA4). 1-2 years GA4 experience including setting up tracking, creating custom reports, and analyzing website data. 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing data analysis, preferably in a similar role. Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis. Familiarity with various BI
