The Center for Psychedelic Research at CU Denver seeks a highly qualified and experienced Lead Lecturer to serve as instructor of a course in our state-approved facilitator training program for psychedelic-assisted services facilitators. The Lead Lecturer will be responsible for planning, managing and delivering engaging and informative educational content that covers the theoretical foundations, practical skills, and ethical considerations of psychedelic-assisted therapy.  This role requires a strong commitment to advancing knowledge and practice in this emerging field while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Candidates hired from this pool will fill temporary, non-tenure track positions and will co-teach no more than one Center for Psychedelic Research course per 8-week appointment. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50%) and will be made term-by-term, depending on the needs of the program and subject to budgetary approval. 

Lead Lecturer, Psilocybin-Assisted Services Facilitator Training 
What you will do:

  • Individualize and deliver existing high-quality training modules for the psychedelic-assisted services facilitator training course.
  • Create engaging and informative course materials, including lectures, handouts, and assessments.
  • Facilitate interactive learning experiences, incorporating group discussions, case studies, role-playing, and other relevant methods.
  • Evaluate participant learning and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the overall development and enhancement of the program.
  • Collaborate with other faculty and staff members to ensure program quality.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of training activities.
