United Health Services is seeking adaptable, experienced RNs to join our Pulmonary Med Surg department at UHS Wilson Medical Center located in Johnson City, NY.

Rotational

Compensation Range:

$40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience

You will be eligible for benefits if you are hired into a regular position with at least 24 scheduled weekly hours.

• Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients.
• Rooms are air conditioned and heated.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting.

• PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by Infection Control policies

About the Role: United Health Services, the largest and most comprehensive provider of healthcare services in upstate New York's Southern Tier, is hiring a Staff Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical to join our team at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. We look for critical thinkers who are able to work with a team of doctors at any given time. Medical Surgical is a fast-paced environment with ever changing needs. Our diverse team of nurses provide a supportive, and collaborative environment.  

Schedule: 12-hour shifts; 7AM-7PM days and 7pm-7am nights, every other weekend / Both 24 and 36hr shifts

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:  

• Monitoring vital signs and responding when necessary 

• Patient assessment and examination  

• Administering medications and interventions provided by Physician  

• Monitoring patient progress and condition 

 

Qualifications: 

• A valid RN license  

• 1 year bedside nursing experience 

• ACLS preferred  

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team 

• Previous experience in med surg preferred
