Sr Cloud Engineer

Performs at an expert level at providing operational cloud infrastructure and technical support across distributed and hybrid architectures to ensure functionality, security, and compliance with service levels. Expert knowledge in the following categories is required for this position: Microsoft 365 (M365) administration, Rubrik Cloud Data Management for backup and disaster recovery, Azure Active Directory integration, scripting and automation, and cloud-based infrastructure design and support. Independently develops and serves as administrator for data protection, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for all Microsoft 365-hosted and on-premise workloads.

 

Bachelors Degree Required.  Masters Degree preferred. Certification in Nursing Informatics preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related area (or 4 years of equivalent experience) required. Master’s Degree preferred.

Minimum 5 years experience in cloud systems engineering, with at least 2 years specializing in Microsoft 365 and Rubrik or similar enterprise backup platforms.

 

5 years experience in cloud systems engineering with at least 2 specializing in Microsfot 365 and Rubrik or similar enterprise backup platform.

Microsoft Certified: M365 Enterprise Administrator Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent preferred.

Rubrik Certified Administrator (RCA) or equivalent enterprise backup certification preferred.

 

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite and Azure Active Directory integration.

Hands-on experience with Rubrik configuration, backup policies, replication, and recovery.

Scripting skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI) for automation and administration.

Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and operational support tasks
