Team Lead, Manufacturing, 1st shift

Location: Exton, PA (USA)

Onsite (Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm)

 

As a Team Lead, Manufacturing, you will assure that dsm-firmenich products are of consistent and high quality by producing products in compliance with established dsm-firmenich/GMP procedures. dsm-firmenich Biomedical is the world’s unrivaled biomaterials expert and committed partner in driving sustainable innovation in healthcare.

Responsibilities:

Perform all operations within their manufacturing department, non-controlled and controlled environment areas in accordance with DSM Standard Operation Procedures and all safety requirements as assigned.

Handling of chemicals and solvents may be required.

Performs operations outside own department when needed with no direct supervision.

Advanced understanding of processes and good troubleshooting skills. Critical thinker and problem solver with good communication skills.

Relies on SOPs and production schedule following pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Works independently.

Ability to operate various equipment and hand tool in assigned areas with no supervision.

Reports to Manufacturing Supervisor or Manager and a wide degree of expertise is expected.

You bring:

High  School diploma or equivalent required/ Two-year technical degree preferred.

Minimum 5+ years’ experience, preferably in manufacturing and or/warehousing in the biotechnology, chemical or food manufacturing industries preferred or GMP related industry.

Strong oral and written communication skills with interpersonal and organizational skills.

Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to follow detailed-technical directions.

Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

Good interpersonal and organizationals skills.

Must be a self-starter, team player, and dependable

Proficient in the use of MSOffice, Word, and Excel
