Your Responsibilities
As a Territory Customer Support Manager for John Deere sales and marketing located in Jackson, Mississippi you will:
- Resolve product and performance issues with channel partners and customers while communicating with factories on appropriate issues and solutions.
- Manage efforts to develop channel partners product support capabilities through: Service ADVISOR, Dealer Technical Assistance Center (DTAC), technician training, tools, facilities, additional technician capacity, and warranty administration to improve customer satisfaction.
- Manage efforts to develop channel partners Dealer Capability Expectations: Internal Knowledge Center, Training, Proactive Machine Monitoring, and Customer Contact Center.
- Use the John Deere Experience surveys to help identify opportunities for improvement and to help resolve dealer and customer concerns.
- Administer product support policies, processes, Product Improvement Programs (PIP) and resolve reimbursement issues.
- Provide marketing support for customer and dealer optimization events and demonstrations.
- Partner with the legal department to help resolve customer and dealer issues as necessary.

What Skills You Need
- 2 or more years of customer support, marketing, or sales experience with customer interaction regarding products, parts or service.
- 2 or more years of factory experience with design, engineering, or manufacturing with focused product-specific knowledge and dealer / customer interaction.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically, up to 50%.
- Microsoft Office Tools knowledge (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint).
What Makes You Stand Out
- 2 or more years of experience with regular customer contact, knowledge of dealer / distribution network processes, and broad product knowledge.
- 2 or more years of practical experience with John Deere machinery and equipment.
- 2 or more years of experience with negotiation and conflict resolution processes.
- 2 or more years of experience with product, marketing, or sales training for internal or external John Deere employees
- 1 or more years of experience with John Deere Connected Support strategy including development of programs and services offered to Dealers and / or End Use Customers.
- 1 or more years of experience external to John Deere with similar industries and disciplines.
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Management, Engineering, Technology, Agricultural Sciences, Marketing, or equivalent discipline.
