Job Description
Role Summary
The Senior Manager, Software Engineering at Experian India will oversee the engineering teams responsible for developing and maintaining Decisioning Analytics North America software and platforms. The primary focus will be on ensuring security remediation, managing technical debt, and driving the implementation of new features across multiple applications, including Precise ID, Precise Match, IEN, and Document Capture. The role will require strategic leadership, effective team management, and technical expertise to support and guide engineering teams toward fulfilling high-level objectives set by Leadership and Product teams.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Lead and mentor engineering teams to design and implement robust Java applications within a microservices architecture.
- Ensure the effective utilization of AWS cloud services for scalable application deployment and management.
- Drive major workstreams, coordinating across cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Uphold and enforce best practices in code quality, security, and scalability through regular reviews and guidance.
- Decompose complex workstreams into manageable components and guide engineers in their execution.
- Ensure that Agile development principles are adhered to and facilitate Scrum ceremonies as needed.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and a strong advocate for Agile practices.
- 10+ years of experience in Java and Spring development, AWS cloud
