Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team in Las Vegas. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and property while maintaining a professional and vigilant presence.

• Patrol and monitor assigned areas of the property, including hotel, casino, and outdoor areas, using various methods (foot patrol, bicycle, or vehicle)
• Identify and respond to security threats, safety hazards, and emergency situations promptly and effectively
• Maintain detailed documentation of all security-related incidents and complete required reports
• Monitor surveillance equipment and security systems
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
• Conduct regular security checks and maintain access control protocols
• Secure and manage all assigned keys and security equipment
• Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining professional conduct
• Respond to guest and employee inquiries or concerns in a courteous manner
• Participate in regular security training and stay updated on security protocols

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Strong physical capabilities including ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and respond quickly to emergencies
• Excellent observation and reporting skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proven decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience in casino security or related field preferred
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record (as required)
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security certifications
• Proficiency in basic computer skills for report writing
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures
• First aid and CPR certification preferred
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Familiarity with gaming environment and local security regulations preferred
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
