Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Technical Support Engineer in Hillsboro, OR:

Job Duties: Lead the resolution of critical technical issues, providing prompt and complete resolution to technical challenges and business issues. Solve highly visible, technical, global, and strategic, enterprise cases and ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction with exposure to all skill groups/areas of the product/platform for the most critical issues. Troubleshoot integration with Salesforce.com APIs, Apex, Visualforce, and implementation of Salesforce.com developer products. Understand how Signature Support customers utilize our technology, such as integration points and implementation set-up and ensure we understand how they are measured so we can align our success metrics. Provide proactive support, including but not limited to proactive system, limit monitoring and communications and deep Splunk analysis. Create definitions for proactive alerts and work with the Customer Centric Engineering and Technical Enablement teams on proactive tuning and provide recommendations to minimize potential service disruptions. Build new monitoring and reporting tools, create and improve existing processes and procedures, and develop “white glove” support practices associated to incident prediction and prevention capabilities. Create knowledge base materials dedicated towards operational efficiency. 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or one (1) years of experience in the job offered OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or five (5) years of experience in the job offered. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Object-Oriented Principles; (2) Java; (3) Spring; (4) Hibernate; (5) Web development; (6) MySQL; (7) HTML; (8) JUnit; (9) SoapUI; (10) Mockito; (11) J2EE; (12) GIT; (13) Selenium 2.0; and (14) MVC Architecture. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.
