The Role:

This Senior Technical Program Manager will be a key member of a Program Management Office (PMO) within the Micro-contamination Control Division of Entegris, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and management of both new product development and operation expansion/improvement programs to support the organization’s strategic direction. The Senior Technical Program Manager will be managing a group of related new product development projects together as a program ensure on-time new product launches that are within budget by scoping, planning, and driving a cross-functional team. The candidate will also mentor the technical lead as project leader within the program.

 

In this role you will:

• Provide program structure for managing multiple projects by executing a strong communication plan that shares the following with the cross-functional team: strategy, scheduling, prioritization, resource management, budget, and stakeholder communication milestones.

• Provide leadership on the following: alignment on technical topics, risk mitigation & contingency plans, team accountability and task delegation/management, and decision making to ensure successful completion of projects.

• Launch new products via the Stage-Gate Process.

• Serve as a role model in Program and Project Management for best practices within Entegris.

• Continuously improve business-related processes/tools as well as innovate processes for efficient project and program management

 

What We Seek:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or similar technical field; in lieu of a related degree, equivalent related experience may be considered.

• 6 - 8 + years project management experience with 1 - 2+ years program management experience within a global organization serving the semiconductor or other hightech industry

• Proven track record of displaying situationally dependent leadership skills, and the ability to look at the bigger picture and guide the project team for successful completion of critical milestones

• Ability to adapt to changes to keep the project timeline on track by efficiently managing resources and team

• Ability to lead global cross functional teams in the execution of complex tasks

• Ability to interface and influence at all levels of an organization with strong communication skills.

• Strong proactive approach to work; the ability to be highly adaptable in the driving of plans to completion

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

 

• Technical knowledge and understanding of engineering-related work to drive efficient program management

• Ability to manage stakeholders’ expectations for successful program execution

• Proficiency in project management tools

 

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

• A Master’s degree in a technical field and/or related chemical processes related work experience and/or PMP certification

• PMP Certification
