We are looking for a skilled Principal System Engineer with expertise in Azure, Microsoft 365, DevOps, and Virtual Networks (vNets) to join our dynamic IT team. This role requires a proactive, team-oriented professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and collaborating across teams to drive successful outcomes. Has the ability to lead or support key initiatives which might include but is not limited to product research, solution POV's, project management and SOP documentation

What you will be responsible for:

• Azure & Cloud Infrastructure: Design, implement, and manage Azure-based solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance optimization.
• M365 Administration: Maintain and enhance Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and security controls).
• DevOps & Automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation using Azure DevOps, Terraform, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
• Networking & Security: Configure and manage vNets, VPNs, firewalls, and security policies to ensure a secure and well-architected environment.
• Project Management: Lead and contribute to IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, risk management, and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration & Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance for cloud and infrastructure-related issues.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends to enhance IT operations and security.

Required Skills:

• 7-10+ years of experience in system engineering, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, vNets, Virtual Machines, Storage, Azure Security).
• Experience managing Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Terraform, and scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (vNets, VPNs, load balancers, firewalls).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills – able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven project management skills, with the ability to drive initiatives from planning to execution.
• A proactive and team-oriented mindset, willing to take ownership and contribute to the success of the team.
• Strong system and knowledge base documentation writing skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or M365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics) and security best practices.
• Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), including Azure AD and Conditional Access Policies.
