NOTE: This is specific to Active Duty personnel interested in SkillBridge and located in the Tampa, FL area. You Must have a minimum of 3 months of eligible and approved Skillbridge Internship available.
Paragon Cyber Solutions is partnering with our Armed Forces to provide mentoring and employment opportunities for Veterans that are transitioning into the Private Sector after selflessly serving our Nation. The Department of Defense has implemented the SkillBridge Intern program to provide Veterans with opportunities to gain "civilian experience" prior to ending their military career. Veterans bring a wealth of experience, discipline and energy, and we understand the significant value of hiring Veterans.
As a recruiter, you'll impact both job seekers and clients by finding the right people for the right jobs. As you continue to grow in the role, you'll also have opportunities for advancement into senior recruiter roles or a sales career path.
- Identifying qualified candidates through various recruiting and sourcing tools
- Screening and interviewing candidates
- Partnering with your account manager to identify top accounts, target skill sets and key market segments
- Building and maintaining relationships with industry contacts to gain knowledge, and generate referrals and sales leads
- Performing various customer service-related activities
DoD SkillBridge Eligibility:
- Has served at least 180 days on active duty
- Is within 12 months of separation or retirement
- Will receive an honorable discharge
- Has taken any service TAPS/TGPS

Step3: Received Unit Commander (first O-4/Field Grade commander in chain of command) written authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to start of internship.
Requirements
- Acquire talent for current and future roles by performing searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using ATS database, networking, employee referrals, career fairs, external databases and resources, agencies, creative sourcing techniques, etc
- Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to efficiently meet current and proactively anticipate future hiring needs
- Provide the ultimate applicant and candidate experience and branding of the Paragon company name to future potential applicants
- Build a pipeline of talent by utilizing various recruiting resources.
- Stay up to date on the latest trends in talent acquisition/sourcing/recruiting; recommend/provide justification for budgeting of additional resources as necessary
- Other activities, duties, and responsibilities assigned.
