The Director, Implementation Excellence is responsible for bringing consistency and best practice strategies to optimize and standardize how GXO engages in automation deployment and implementation, ensuring efficiencies, structure, and a “One GXO” approach.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Build a “best in class” implementation playbook to reflect best practices to be utilized in all deployments
• Gather best practices internally and externally
• Document processes and ways of working to ensure consistency and standardization
• Build comprehensive guidance and “step-by-step” procedures to serve as model for future deployments
• Define items to be included in the playbook via partnering with regional solutions leaders
• Gathers ongoing feedback to continue to evolve the playbook
• Own global reporting for implementation timelines for both new deployments and adaptive tech installations

• Build and develop global dashboards to deliver on functional KPIs
• Develop a cadence of reporting and analysis to provide visibility of deployment and installations
• Provide insights based on data to inform business decisions
• Support regions as needed through implementations to ensure best practices are deployed optimally

• Provide subject matter expertise advise on how to best apply the playbook
• Suggest recommendations based on playbook
• Build network across the enterprise, connecting leaders who could benefit from key expertise in deployment.
• Measures implementations to assess playbook value and opportunities to improve.

• Set up and measure critical KPIs
• Engage in ongoing continuous improvement activities

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s in engineering or any other related field
• Extensive experience leading Operational excellence in global roles
• Proven experience in building best-in-class processes and standards
• Strong background in Automation
• Lean Six-sigma, Kaizen, Shingo or any other related methodologies qualification
