General Cafeteria Worker - Jefferson Middle School - 4 Hours/Day

The Mt. Lebanon School District Food Services Department is seeking applicants for the position of General Cafeteria Worker at Jefferson Middle School.

This is a part-time, on-site, permanent, 10 month, permanent position. This position works 4 hours per day, scheduled between the hours of 10:15 AM and 2:15 PM, Monday through Friday, on days when students are in attendance during the regular school year. Additional work/training days may be scheduled by the Food Services Department on an as needed basis.

The 2026-2027 hourly rate is $17.57.
This position is eligible for:

• Paid time off in the form of sick days and personal days
• A district contribution towards the purchase of district sponsored insurance after successful completion of a 90 day probationary period
• Work shirts provided
• Reimbursement of up to $150 per school year for the purchase of district-approved work pants and/or shoes

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
In order to be eligible for employment, the following clearances must be furnished and approved for hire at time of job offer:

• Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
• Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check (Act 34)
• FBI Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114)

The following additional trainings and forms are required upon hire:

• Act 126 Child/Student Abuse Recognition and Reporting
• Arrest or Conviction Form (PDE 6004) (Act 24)
• School Personnel Health Record (Physical with TB Test)
• Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Information (Act 168)
