The Job You Will Perform:

• Measure vital signs on each patient upon arrival to clinic
• Administer medications as ordered by providers while maintaining the 5 Rights
• Accurately document the patient’s medical record
• Reconcile patient medication lists
• Contact patients regarding important messages about medications, test results, and/or other general medical information
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPPAA requirements
• Other duties as assigned within scope of practice
   

The Qualifications, Skills and/or Knowledge You Bring:

• Graduate of a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) program (required)
• Current licensure in the state of KY (required)
• CPR certification (required)
• Uphold HIPPAA in regard to patient information (required)
• Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed (required)
• Computer literacy (MS Office, Windows, etc.) (required)
• Experience using EPIC systems (preferred)
• Experience using iSalus systems (preferred)
• Prior medical receptionist experience (preferred)
