QA Automation Engineer.

The Senior QA Analyst has a key role to play in new IT solutions. Responsible for all testing phases; System Integration Testing (SIT), Functional Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Performance/Load Testing, and Post-Production Testing. 

 

Pay: $67,000-$105,000

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Initiate and complete all aspects of testing: 
• Review software requirements, technical, and functional specification documents to develop test scripts that assure the code operates as defined. 
• Execute moderately complex and complex test scripts and document results. 
• Communicate issues found during reviews and testing with software developers, PM, business analysts, and other stakeholders. 
• Validate software requirements have been properly coded as defined by the system users and as required by QA. Work with business, development, BA, PM, and others on any required clarifications 
• Track and trouble-shoot issues with developers and cycle through the development process. 
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT). 
• Maintain bug-tracking information. 
• Document and compile project deliverables for audit review purposes. 
• Perform system administration for test tools and test environments. 
• Help develop QA metrics and KPIs, as well as assist with QA strategy development. 
• Effectively work with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and end users to meet deliverable deadlines for various projects.

Education and Training:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent work experience is required. Degree in IT preferred. 
• Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) strongly desired. 
• ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Testing 
• (ICP-TST) an advantage

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance/software testing, including working with test management tools 
• 3+ years of functional testing experience 
• 2+ years of Performance testing experience desirable 
• 2+ years of testing automation experience 
• KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES 
• Strong knowledge of QA methodology 
• Knowledge of automation tools and best practices 
• Strong understanding of testing practices in an enterprise environment 
• Ability to closely partner with development, business analysts, project management, business, other IT, and testing resources 
• Ability to interface with technical resources, business resources, and management. 
• Working knowledge of Jira Xray 
• Some SQL knowledge and experience 
• Some coding knowledge and experience 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills 
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills 
• Ability to multitask effectively and excellent time-management and organizational skills 
• Ability to work independently and communicate progress ad status in a timely and effective manner
