We offer students the opportunity to spend a summer working at one of Securitas’ US Operating Centers. This internship program offers undergraduate students with real-world application of business within the North America Shared Services organization. You will participate in a 12 to 15-week internship located in Parsippany, New Jersey for 32-40 hours per week.
As a Junior Level EUS Intern you will be responsible for performing basic ticket administration, follow ups with our customers on pending tickets, basic administration tasks on systems and software. Laptop builds as well as some level 1 trouble shooting can be performed where appropriate.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • The functions listed describe the business purpose of this job or position. Specific duties or tasks may vary and be documented separately. Job performance standards may be documented separately, and may include functions, objectives, duties or tasks not specifically listed herein. • In performing functions, duties or tasks, associates are required to know and follow safe work practices, and to be aware of company policies and procedures related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations. Associates are required to notify superiors upon becoming aware of unsafe working conditions. • All functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with applicable company policies and procedures. In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of company policies and procedures, associates are required to request clarification or explanations from superiors or authorized company representatives.
• Provide administrative support to the L2 EUS team with regards to ticket management and tirage • Provide support in office with regards to laptop build procedure and configuration / packing of laptops • Taking regular inventory of laptops in storage to ensure loaner pool is functional • Perform basic 1st level trouble shooting of incidents with instruction and direction from L2 team • Follow SOP’s to complete provisioning requests as per direction from L2 team • Complete floor walks in office to ensure correction functioning and layout of equipment including meeting room setups • Other tasks will be assigned by senior members of L2 and EUS manager as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.
Education/Experience: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in related field.
Competencies: (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing): • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Effective communication. Must have ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Ability to successfully manage relationships with interpersonal and organizational savvy. • Effective collaboration skills in working with teams and internal/external stakeholders. • Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills. • Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail. • Proven ability to solve problems and think critically. • Action-oriented.
